By accessing or using Dream For A Dollar ("the Platform," "we," "us") at dreamforadollar.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform.
These terms apply to all users including members, supporters, dream submitters, voters, and visitors.
Dream For A Dollar is a community-powered platform where:
Important: Dream For A Dollar is NOT a lottery, sweepstakes, or gambling platform. Winners are selected by community vote, not by chance. No purchase is necessary to submit a dream — members who cannot afford the $1 fee may contact us for a waiver.
To use Dream For A Dollar you must:
Basic Membership — $1/month: Provides voting rights, dream submission access, AI Growth Dashboard, community access, and Ripple Score tracking. Billed monthly. Cancel anytime.
Premium Membership — $9/month: Includes all Basic features plus advanced AI coaching, unlimited journal entries, and priority dream submission placement.
Supporter — $1 one-time: Funds the dream pot and provides 30-day dashboard trial access. Does not include voting rights or dream submission.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (for monthly memberships) or once (for supporter payments).
Cancellation: You may cancel your membership at any time through your account settings or by emailing hello@dreamforadollar.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.
Refunds: All sales are final except where required by law. If you experience a technical error resulting in a duplicate charge, contact us within 7 days for a full refund of the duplicate charge.
Each month, a portion of membership revenue is pooled into the Dream Fund and distributed to winning dream submissions as voted on by the community.
Fund allocation: At least 40% of monthly membership revenue is allocated to the Dream Fund. The remaining revenue covers platform operations, AI tools, payment processing fees, and business costs.
Winner selection: Winners are determined by member votes. Dream For A Dollar reserves the right to disqualify submissions that violate our content guidelines or are found to be fraudulent.
Fund distribution: Winners receive funding via direct bank transfer, PayPal, or check within 14 business days of announcement. Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes on received funds.
No guarantee: Submitting a dream does not guarantee funding. The community vote determines winners each month.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination without refund.
The Dream For A Dollar name, logo, website design, and original content are owned by Dream For A Dollar and protected by copyright and trademark law.
Content you create on the platform (journal entries, dream submissions) remains yours. By submitting a dream for voting, you grant us a limited license to display your dream title and description to other members for voting purposes.
Our AI Growth Dashboard is powered by the Claude API (Anthropic). Your journal entries are processed to generate personalized insights but are never shared with other users, sold to third parties, or used to train AI models.
AI-generated insights are for personal growth purposes only and do not constitute professional medical, financial, legal, or therapeutic advice.
Dream For A Dollar is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free or continuously available.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dream For A Dollar's total liability to you for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
